Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Relatara. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Relatara platform ("Service"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a dealership or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Relatara is an AI-powered automotive sales intelligence platform that provides vehicle recommendations, customer relationship management, inventory management, and sales analytics tools for automotive dealerships. The Service includes:
- AI-powered vehicle matching and recommendation engine
- Customer profile and preference management
- Real-time inventory management and sync
- Sales pipeline and customer journey tracking
- Manager analytics and performance dashboards
- Multi-rooftop management for dealer groups
3. Account Registration and Security
Access to Relatara is granted through dealership administrator accounts. The following applies to all users:
- Accounts are created and managed by dealership administrators
- Each user must have a unique account — credential sharing is prohibited
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords
- Multi-factor authentication is available and strongly recommended
- You must notify Relatara immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Relatara is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to user negligence
4. Subscription and Payment
Relatara is offered on a subscription basis with the following tiers:
- Starter: $299/month — up to 5 associates, core features
- Pro: $599/month — up to 15 associates, advanced features including inventory sync and AI chat
- Enterprise: Custom pricing — unlimited associates, DMS integration, multi-rooftop management
Payment terms:
- Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same day each month
- Annual subscriptions are billed upfront and include a 20% discount
- No refunds are issued for partial months of service
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension
5. Free Trial
New accounts are eligible for a 30-day free trial of the Starter plan:
- No credit card is required to begin the trial
- Full access to all Starter plan features during the trial period
- At the end of the trial period, your account pauses automatically if no plan is selected — there are no surprise charges
- Your data is retained for 90 days after trial expiry
- One free trial per dealership
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the Service to third parties
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Use the Service to store data unrelated to automotive sales operations
- Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair the platform
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key data principles:
- Dealerships retain ownership of all customer data they input into the platform
- Relatara processes data solely to provide and improve the Service
- AI recommendations use customer preference data sent to our AI provider; this data is governed by their privacy policy
- Relatara does not sell dealership or customer data to third parties
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Row-level security ensures complete isolation between dealership accounts
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Relatara platform — including all software, algorithms, AI models, designs, branding, and documentation — are and remain the exclusive property of Relatara Inc.
Dealerships retain full ownership of their inventory data, customer records, and business data entered into the platform. You grant Relatara a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service.
The Relatara name, logo, and brand marks are protected trademarks. You may not use them without prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party providers. Use of the Service involves data processing by these providers, subject to their respective privacy policies:
Relatara is not responsible for the practices of third-party services and encourages you to review their policies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- Relatara does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
- Relatara is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss
- Relatara's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim
- Relatara is not responsible for third-party integrations, outages, or data handling by third-party providers
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the Service relationship:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support
- Relatara may terminate your account with 30 days written notice for any reason
- Relatara may terminate your account immediately and without notice for material violations of these Terms
- Upon termination, you may export your data for up to 30 days after the termination date
- All dealership data is permanently deleted 90 days after account closure
12. Modifications to Terms
Relatara reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify account administrators by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when Terms were most recently revised.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Ohio.
